Linen & cotton: a balance of natural materials
So why bedding made from a cotton/linen blend? These two natural fabrics are among the oldest in the world, both having been used for centuries due to their unique properties.
Linen is breathable and heat-regulating, so it feels cool in summer and warm in winter. It is also extremely durable. Cotton is soft and supple, and the combination of the two is ideal for bedding. With this blend of fabrics, you can give your child a soft and comfortable set of bedding that will last for many years.
At MinEgen, we use carefully selected fabrics that have been tested for substances that are harmful to health and the environment. This means that the bedding is free from harmful chemicals and comfortable against the little one’s delicate skin. The material is durable and made to be used – even in households where bedding is washed frequently.
Our bedding can be washed at 60°C (but we recommend 40°C to protect the embroidery) and can withstand frequent washing without losing its properties. After washing, the fabric may feel a little stiff, but it will quickly become soft again with use, or with light steam ironing or tumble drying.
